East Greenwich Residents' Victory

Before EGRA was officially formed, the residents of East Greenwich came together to object to drastic changes in the planning application for Lovells Wharf (now 'Riverside Gardens'). The builders had tried to make significant changes to their plans, which would have had a massive impact on not only the aesthetics of the local area, but healthcare, transport and schooling.

This victory paved the way for EGRA.
