STOP PRESS: TFL rep to join open meeting

We now have confirmation that Mathew Webb, Senior Energy & Carbon Strategy Manager for TFL, will be attending our public EGRA meeting on the 17th February at the Star & Garter Pub. Matthew will also be bringing along a couple of his collegues to help field any questions along with the power station manager. A number of local councillors also wish to attend.

We think there are some important issues that the community should be concerned and informed about namely:

• noise pollution

• air pollution

• The long term plans for the power station in terms of future loadings

• Plans for a district heating system and attendant disruption to local roads and infrastructure

This is the community's chance to be better informed about the longer term impact of the power station changes, speak now or for ever hold your peace
