The last quarter crime statistics where presented and discussed along with the feedback from the ward survey conducted in February, a copy of these can be found attached to this Newsletter for your awareness . Emerging issues raised in the meeting directly to local officers were;

* The raise on Parcel theft and shoplifting

* Drug dealing and ASB on multiple locations on the ward.

New Ward Priorities

1- Public space violence, RIVER GARDENS, THAMES PATH SE10

2- Theft Retail Trafalgar Road

3- Flamsteed & Caletock Estate SE10

The next Ward Panel will be held on the 30th April 2025. If you would like to be part of the ward Panel please email the Team at: EastGreenwich.SNT@met.police.uk

We will be conducting street briefings on 28/02/2025 at 11:00 AM at The Forum SE10. This is an opportunity for local community to meet the SNT Team and talk about any issues. Officers have attended multiple events on the ward and deployed for aid to demonstrations and protests around London, we continue to support neighbouring ward officers with undertaking mental health assessments (MHA’s) by assisting the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and mental health teams at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to help support vulnerable persons who are in mental health crises.

A fair proportion of crimes committed on our ward can be attributed to suspects in mental health crises and it is therefore really important that we continue to support local mental health services by helping to safeguard these individuals and provide wrap-around-care which can result in a reduction in offending.

If you have any concerns and want to contact us please dial 101 or go online. If you want to remain anonymous please reported it at crime stopper
